Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Cabinet expressed condolences and sympathy to Qatar following the death of a Qatari citizen and the injury of a resident due to shrapnel from recent military operations in the region. The Cabinet extended heartfelt condolences to the leadership, government, people of Qatar, and the victim's family, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
According to Qatar News Agency, the expressions of sympathy were made during a Kuwaiti Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The Cabinet also condemned recent Iranian attacks on Kuwait, highlighting violations of sovereignty and threats to security and stability. The Cabinet emphasized that such actions challenge international efforts to de-escalate regional tensions and affirmed Kuwait's right to take necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty and security.
