Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya has condemned the Israeli attack on Qatar, calling it a direct assault on shared Gulf security and the collective destiny of the GCC states.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Yahya described the incident as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional stability and undermines international efforts to break the cycle of violence and protect civilians. He stressed that targeting the State of Qatar is a direct attack on the collective security of the Gulf and the unity of purpose among GCC nations.
Al-Yahya praised the unified stance of GCC member states in rejecting the attack and reaffirming their support for Qatar, noting that such solidarity reflects the depth of Gulf cooperation and the bloc's shared commitment to defending regional stability. The minister expressed Kuwait's strongest condemnation of the Israeli assault, which targeted residential units and civilian infrastructure in Qatar, calling it a blatant violation of international law, the UN Charter, and relevant international resolutions.
He reiterated Kuwait's full support for Qatar in the face of the aggression, emphasizing that Qatar's security is an integral part of Kuwait's security and that of the wider Gulf. Al-Yahya called on the UN Security Council and the international community to uphold their legal and moral responsibilities, take immediate action to stop Israel's repeated violations, hold the perpetrators accountable, and ensure respect for international law and the preservation of regional peace and stability.
