Kuwait City: Kuwait Stock Exchange closed trading on Wednesday with the All Share Index declining by 28.72 points, or 0.40 percent, to reach 7,232.79 points. A total of 382.9 million shares, valued at KWD 76.13 million, were traded through 19,555 transactions. According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index decreased by 11.22 points, or 0.17 percent, to reach 6,593.92 points, with 258.6 million shares traded through 11,082 transactions valued at KWD 33.5 million. The Premier Market Index fell by 34.74 points, or 0.45 percent, to reach 7,751.36 points, through 124.2 million shares done via 8,473 transactions worth KWD 42.5 million. Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index declined by 46.32 points, or 0.71 percent, to close at 6,464.21 points, with a stock volume of 148.9 million shares traded in 6,600 deals, valued at KWD 20.28 million.
