Post: Kuwait Stock Market Declines as Indices Fall

Doha:The Kuwait Bourse ended trading on Thursday with the All Share Index dropping by 65.67 points, closing at 8,713.71 points, marking a decrease of 0.75 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, trading volume reached 236.8 million shares with a total value of KWD 74.5 million, equivalent to approximately USD 241.21 million, conducted through 20,679 transactions.

The Main Market Index experienced a decline of 134.95 points, settling at 8,959.69 points, a fall of 1.48 percent. This was achieved through 146 million shares traded in 12,842 transactions, valued at KWD 30.2 million, or about USD 97.78 million.

The Premier Market Index decreased by 54.33 points to 9,113.60 points, a reduction of 0.59 percent. This included 90.70 million shares exchanged via 8,737 transactions, with a total value of KWD 44.3 million, approximately USD 143.43 million.

Additionally, the Bourse Main 50 Index dropped 101.17 points to 10,111.43 points, down by 0.99 percent. The trading volume was 82.7 million shares, executed in 8,637 deals, with a value of KWD 20.15 million, roughly USD 65.24 million.
