Post: Kuwait Stock Market Ends Trading with Decline

Hanoi:The Kuwait Bourse concluded its trading session on Thursday with the All Share Index falling by 34.79 points, closing at 8,632.71 points, marking a decline of 0.40 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the day saw a total of 282.8 million shares exchanged, amounting to a value of KWD 84.3 million (around USD 259.6 million), across 21,111 transactions.

The Main Market Index dropped by 58.50 points to finish at 8,860.03 points, representing a 0.66 percent decrease. This was achieved through 136.14 million shares traded in 11,063 transactions, with a total value of KWD 25.7 million (approximately USD 79.15 million).

Furthermore, the Premier Market Index decreased by 31.55 points to close at 9,032.86 points, a 0.35 percent fall. The trading involved 146.7 million shares in 10,048 transactions, valued at KWD 58.6 million (roughly USD 180.4 million).

Conversely, the Bourse Main 50 Index saw an increase of 27.52 points, closing at 10,084.29 points, which is an uptick of 0.27 percent. This was through a stock volume of 117.8 million shares conducted in 8,935 deals, with a value of KWD 22.3 million (approximately USD 68.6 million).
