Post: Ministry of Education to Celebrate World Teachers’ Day with Ceremony

Doha:The Ministry of Education and Higher Education will celebrate World Teachers' Day on Wednesday, under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, with a focus on the theme 'Giving That Bears Fruit for Generations.'

According to Qatar News Agency, the event will honor 80 teachers from government schools for their outstanding contributions to education. This recognition highlights their efforts in advancing the educational process, developing students' abilities and skills, and instilling essential values and principles to prepare them for the future.

The celebration will also include an exhibition that showcases distinguished educational projects and applied research by students and teachers. This exhibition aims to emphasize the teacher's role in developing students' research, critical-thinking, and innovation skills, as well as in utilizing knowledge and modern technologies to enhance educational practices and improve learning outcomes.

The ceremony underscores the Ministry's commitment to recognizing teachers' efforts, highlighting their crucial role in nurturing future generations, and raising community awareness of their educational mission. This aligns with the human development goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, which prioritize education and human capacity development.
