MSDF Unveils National Strategy at World Social Summit

Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) participated in an international symposium on human rights at the core of social development, towards a sustainable future, held as part of the Second World Summit for Social Development.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the session, MSDF's Director of Planning, Quality, and Innovation Hamad Saud Al Hanzab presented the Ministry's national strategy under the theme "From Care to Empowerment 2025-2030". The strategy aligns with Qatar's Third National Development Strategy (2024-2030) and aims to address pressing social development challenges while strengthening family cohesion, building on the foundations of previous strategies and Qatar National Vision 2030.

The strategy targets six key outcomes supported by 17 initiatives, focusing on areas such as family cohesion, women's empowerment, support for vulnerable groups, social protection, and responsible citizenship.

In closing, Al Hanzab emphasized that the Third National Development Strategy seeks to build a participatory society that meets the diverse needs of Qatar's population. He stressed that successful implementation of these initiatives is critical to achieving the desired outcomes and advancing sustainable social development.
