Jerusalem: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday condemned Israeli occupation National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards in occupied Jerusalem. The Ministry also denounced provocations by extremist Knesset members, rabbis and colonists who raised the flag of the occupying state inside Al-Aqsa.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that these violations fall within the broader context of genocide, displacement, Judaization, and annexation being perpetrated against the Palestinian people. It called for urgent international intervention to immediately stop these actions and for the implementation of necessary measures under international law to protect the Palestinian people from the aggression of the occupation army and settlers.
The Ministry also urged for intensified political and diplomatic efforts to launch a serious political process that would lead to ending the occupation and enabling the Palestinian people to exercise their right to self-determination.
