Palestine Prime Minister Discusses Developments with European Delegation

Ramallah: Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met today with a delegation from the European Council, headed by Member of Parliament Dora Bakoyannis, to discuss the latest developments in Palestine.

According to Qatar News Agency, Mustafa emphasized that the priority now is to solidify the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, facilitate the entry of aid, and intensify emergency relief and recovery efforts in preparation for comprehensive reconstruction. He stressed that any solution in the Gaza Strip must be based on the two-state solution, the full sovereignty of the State of Palestine over the Strip, and the Palestinian people's right to self-determination in their independent state.

Mustafa also briefed the European delegation on the developments in the West Bank, including the ongoing attacks by Israeli occupation forces, daily incursions into Palestinian areas, settler attacks on Palestinian villages and towns, the continued occupation of refugee camps in the northern West Bank, and the ongoing withholding of Palestinian tax revenues.
