Post: Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Engages in Diplomatic Conversations and Inaugurates Key Initiatives

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in two significant telephone conversations on Monday. The first discussion was held with HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. In a separate conversation, HE Sheikh Mohammed spoke with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Dar Al Sharikat, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani, inaugurated "Dar Al Sharikat." This entity is tasked with the registration and licensing of companies in the country's economic zones, aiming to streamline these processes.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), through Qatar Digital Academy, has initiated the second edition of the Executive Leadership Program in Artificial Intelligence titled "AI Business Strategy and Innovation," in collaboration with Microsoft.

Additionally, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by its Department of Chemicals and Hazardous Waste, organized its first forum on the safe disposal of hazardous health care waste. This initiative seeks to enhance compliance with environmental regulations in the health care sector.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education celebrated International Literacy Day by honoring 56 outstanding graduates from evening education centers for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Qatar Chamber announced that the Third Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Qatar Conference will take place on Oct. 6-7 at The Ritz-Carlton Doha.
