New York:The State of Qatar and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria engaged in discussions to explore ways to strengthen their cooperation on health initiatives.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali Al Misnad met with HE Peter Sands, the executive director of the Global Fund, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The discussions focused on reviewing current cooperation between Qatar and the Global Fund, as well as exploring ways to support and enhance their partnership. The meeting also covered several issues of mutual interest.
