Doha: The Qatar Anti-Doping Commission (QADC) concluded the national 'Summer of Values' initiative, in cooperation with various youth and sports institutions organizing summer camps in the State of Qatar. According to Qatar News Agency, this initiative is part of the commission's ongoing efforts to promote sports values and ethics among children. Key values such as justice and teamwork were emphasized, alongside fostering a sense of fair play. The initiative was designed to engage children through a fun-based learning approach, featuring educational workshops presented in an interactive manner, complemented by entertaining sports and movement activities. The program aimed to enhance community engagement, particularly among children aged 6-12 years, while expanding cooperation with relevant entities to underline the commission's key role in community development. The initiative drew significant participation due to its tailored educational methods that cater to the interests and needs of young children. More than 200 participants engaged in the program, in collaboration with five different entities, including youth centers and sports clubs. The successful culmination of the 'Summer of Values' initiative reaffirms QADC's dedication to supporting a clean sports environment at the local level and broadening the reach of its target audience.
