New york: The State of Qatar participated Thursday in the annual meeting in support of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Qatar was represented at the meeting by HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting aimed to discuss and enhance support for UNRWA, which plays a critical role in providing assistance to Palestinian refugees. The participation of Qatar underscores its commitment to international cooperation and humanitarian efforts, particularly in the Middle East.
