Hanoi:The State of Qatar took part in the 46th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Environment Undersecretaries' Committee, which convened via videoconference.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar was represented by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Eng. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud.
The meeting focused on monitoring the implementation of the Supreme Council's decision regarding environmental priorities in the GCC countries and examined progress related to the Green Middle East Initiative. Additionally, discussions included the work plan for the Committee of Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs through 2030 and other topics aimed at enhancing joint Gulf environmental efforts.
