Bangkok: The Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, has confirmed its participation in the Asian International Stamp Exhibition. This event is scheduled to take place in Bangkok from August 7 to 12, under the auspices of the international philatelic federation (FIP).
According to Qatar News Agency, the center, which regularly takes part in global exhibitions organized by the international philatelic federation and the Federation of Inter-Asian Philately (FIAP), will present three stamp displays that have garnered numerous international medals. These displays include the postal history of Qatar, the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Nejd and Hejaz (1925-1926), and the postal history of the Sultanate of Oman, each consisting of five frames.
The center is dedicated to promoting and advancing the hobby of stamp and numismatic collecting. It aims to create favorable conditions for its members to engage in this hobby, while also strengthening cooperation and mutual understanding among stamp collectors throughout the region.
