Doha:The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index saw an increase of 0.46% in early trading on Monday, adding 42.23 points to the previous session's close and reaching 9,227 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the QSE data indicated gains across six sectors. The Real Estate sector led the growth with a rise of 0.83%, followed by Transportation at 0.69%, Industrials at 0.67%, Consumer Goods and Services at 0.56%, Telecoms at 0.54%, and Banks and Financial Services at 0.33%. On the other hand, the Insurance sector experienced a decline of 0.92%.
By 10:00 am, the trading volume had reached 31.551 million shares, with a turnover amounting to QR 59.963 million across 3,503 transactions.
