Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Sunday, registering a gain of 11.91 points, or 0.12%, to reach 10,293.72 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 91,370,975 shares exchanging hands, resulting in a turnover of QR 197,405,532.875. These trades were distributed across 10,613 transactions spanning all sectors of the market.
The session concluded with 17 companies seeing their shares advance, while 31 companies experienced declines, and 4 companies' shares remained unchanged. The market capitalization also saw an increase, climbing to QR 621,240,861,232.440 from QR 619,730,093,054.914 recorded in the previous session.
