Post: Qatar Strongly Condemns Israeli Settler Incursions into Al Aqsa Mosque

Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the ongoing incursions by Israeli settlers into Al Aqsa Mosque, which includes a recent raid conducted under the protection of Israeli occupation forces. Qatar has labeled these actions as clear violations of international law and international humanitarian law, and as provocations to millions of Muslims worldwide.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Tuesday emphasizing that Al Aqsa Mosque is exclusively a place of worship for Muslims. The statement declared that any unilateral actions aimed at changing the historic and legal status of Jerusalem and its holy sites are invalid under international law.

The ministry cautioned that ongoing violations have the potential to escalate regional tensions and disrupt efforts to maintain calm and stability. It called on the international community to urgently pressure Israel to cease its continuous violations against the Palestinian people and their sacred sites, and to adhere to relevant international resolutions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the Palestinian people, focusing on the end of the occupation and the realization of Palestinian rights, including the establishment of an independent state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
