Doha: President of the Qatar Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon Federation Badr Al Darwish was elected to the FEI Solidarity Commission during the General Assembly meeting held in Hong Kong on Saturday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatar Equestrian Federation participated in the FEI General Assembly meeting with a delegation that included HE Secretary General of the Federation Sheikh Ahmed bin Nooh Al-Thani. The meeting saw wide participation from member federations.
Al Darwish expressed his gratitude for the confidence placed in him by the General Assembly, emphasizing that his election reflects the prestigious standing of the Qatar Equestrian Federation regionally and internationally. He added that it strengthens the Federation's role in advancing equestrian sports to new heights in Asia, particularly as Qatar continues to host major international championships of foremost importance to the FEI.
