Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Wednesday's trading higher by 26.43 points, or 0.23 percent, to settle at 11,389.02 points. During the session, a total of 133,571,601 shares were traded, with a value of QAR 397,144,429.718, through 24,902 transactions across all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, shares of 31 companies rose during the session, while 18 companies saw their stocks decline. Five companies maintained their previous closing prices. At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QAR 679,095,522,890.056, compared to QAR 676,753,099,990.096 in the previous session.
