Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index increased by 0.08% at the start of Thursday's trading, up by 8.05 points to reach 9,859 points compared to the previous session's close, supported by five sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, QSE data showed positive performances in Telecoms (+0.64%), Insurance (+0.55%), Industrials (+0.14%), Real Estate (+0.13%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.02%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Consumer Goods and Services (-0.03%) and Transportation (-0.14%).
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 45.114 million, with 18.426 million shares traded in 3,053 transactions, according to QSE data.
