Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index experienced a decline on Wednesday, closing down by 56.67 points at 11,038.74 points. The day's trades were valued at SR 4 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 217 million shares being exchanged. Out of the companies listed, 51 recorded an increase in their share values, while 195 companies saw a decline by the end of the session.
In contrast, the Saudi Parallel Stock Exchange Index, known as Nomu, closed with an increase. The index rose by 43.62 points, ending the day at 27,345.08 points. The Nomu trades were valued at SR 21 million, with the number of traded shares exceeding two million.
