Uzbekistan and Oman Strengthen Ties in 8th Political Consultation Round

Tashkent: The eighth round of political consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan and the Sultanate of Oman took place today. The meeting was led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhromjon Aloyev for Uzbekistan and Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy for Oman.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on reviewing and enhancing bilateral relations across various sectors, including political, economic, trade, investment, scientific, and cultural areas. Both sides expressed their commitment to working collaboratively in these fields to benefit both nations.

In addition to strengthening bilateral ties, the representatives exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, highlighting their shared interests and perspectives. The consultations concluded with the signing of a joint action plan for cooperation, marking a significant step forward in the partnership between Uzbekistan and Oman.
