Indonesian, French Presidents Discuss Strategic Partnership

Jakarta: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto discussed with visiting French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, grounded in mutual respect and shared principles, including democracy, human rights, sovereignty, and independence.

According to Qatar News Agency, President Prabowo underscored the significance of Macron's visit, which coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and marks over a century since the launch of their strategic partnership.

The Indonesian President highlighted the broad potential to expand cooperation across various sectors and expressed hope that the close ties between the two countries would contribute to enhancing regional and international stability amid current geopolitical and geoeconomic challenges.
