Ramallah: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a massive arrest and raid campaign across several West Bank governorates on Thursday, searching homes and arresting 15 Palestinians.
According to Qatar News Agency, the IOF arrested six Palestinians in the Ramallah governorate, two others in the Bethlehem governorate, and a freed captive in the district of Silwan, Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds). They also arrested six Palestinians and detained dozens of others during their raids on different areas in Al-Khalil, including an elderly individual.
In a related context, the IOF set up a military checkpoint in the Nashash area, south of Bethlehem. They searched citizens' vehicles, checked their IDs, and obstructed traffic.
This arrest campaign is part of the escalating policy pursued by the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, which aims to terrorize Palestinians, restrict movement, and persecute activists and freed captives.
