Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Friday will be hot during the day, with a chance of local rainy clouds, thundery at times, and relatively humid at night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected thundery rain associated with sudden strong wind. Offshore, the weather will be hazy with scattered clouds and thundery rain, the report added, warning of thunder rain associated with strong wind and high sea.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be variable less than 5 KT at times, becoming mainly northeasterly to easterly at 5 - 15 KT, gusting to 25 KT with thundery rain at times. Offshore, wind will be northeasterly to southeasterly at 5 - 15 KT, gusting to 25 KT.
The sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, rising to 5 feet with thundery rain. Offshore, it will range from 2 to 4 feet, rising to 7 feet with thundery rain.
Visibility inshore is expected to be 4 to 10 km, reducing to 3 km or less with thundery rain at times. Offshore, visibility will be 4 to 9 km, decreasing to 3 km or less during thundery rain.
