Prime Minister of Qatar Meets Turkish Foreign Minister to Discuss Regional Cooperation

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan, to discuss advancing bilateral cooperation and regional developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between the two foreign ministers covered a range of topics, including the situation in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Syria. Both leaders focused on enhancing cooperation between their countries and addressing issues of shared interest.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighted the importance of increasing efforts at both regional and global levels to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the need for the continuous flow of humanitarian aid into the region and advocated for the release of hostages and prisoners.

The Prime Minister reiterated Qatar's commitment to supporting all genuine efforts aimed at resolving the Palestinian issue through peaceful negotiations and implementing the two-state solution.
