Doha:Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa held a meeting with Kaja Kallas, the European Union's high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, who is currently visiting Syria. The discussions focused on developments within the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting addressed enhancing relations between Syria and the European Union, with an emphasis on expanding cooperation to support stability, reconstruction, and development in Syria.
In addition, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al Shaibani also engaged in talks with Kallas earlier in the day. Their discussions centered on strengthening Syria-EU relations, fostering stability, and facilitating recovery and reconstruction efforts in Syria, alongside political and security developments in the region.
